653. A group of tombstones around the yard of the church "st. Nikola" in the village of vakarel, samokovsko. And here, as in many other places around bulgaria, [dead] are buried in one grave after certain intervals, the number of which can be read by the number of monuments that are stuck one behind the other: the oldest - the one at the back. There are 2, 3 to 6 monuments - both dolls and stone ones. The shape of the stone ones is that of the monuments around sofia - with apples, and the older ones with a wreath between the wings, like the ones at sofia, without an inscription.
