My dear mum! i should scold you again, but i won't, i love you too much. So i thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all the lovely and good things. The package, the stationery and the letter all arrived on the same day. You must have liked my little floral greeting. You see, dear mamschl, you do and give me so much and i can't give you anything. But when the war is over we want to make up for it all. You'll definitely be missing the stamps again. The stuff in the little bottles is brilliant, you know, because it says "sun protection emulsion" on it. Otherwise i'll end up like i did in zakopane, remember that hair tonic?! yes, my mother, i'll try to get a nice girl as my wife.
