Illustration by poul steffensen from the danish novel gjøngehøvdingen by carit etlar which takes place during and after the dano-swedish war in 1657-1658. The lady-in-waiting, julie parsberg, and gøngehøvdingen, svend poulsen, who loves each meets in secret during the night in jungshoved castle. Svend poulsen (app. 1610 - app. 1679) was a real person but the story is fiction. The look of svend poulsen is also fantasy as there is no known portraits of him.
