I'm almost 70 and in the past i used to be able to go to heck once a year with my mother, when malando or tom erich or the ramblers would play there, which was fantastic, it's a shame it's no longer there. I was 73 years old as a child and went with my mother to heck upstairs on the balcony, with the boyd bachmann orchestra and downstairs was the billiard room, and that was wonderful and fun at the time!

She still talks about her wonderful times with her colleagues. Does anyone know her? i am her granddaughter and 34 years old. Posted by ingrid on april 2, 2015 - 8:49 pm. I know a lady in a nursing home in amsterdam and she also has fond memories of heck, boyd bachmann and angela lenke's orchestra. Her father starred in it. Such a large hall, as a young person you felt privileged to be there, as i still do today when i am in the concertgebouw in the evening. The orchestra the ramblers with a singer, i believe marcel thielemans. At sometime. They played and sung a south african song, could it have been moriaantje? afterwards, the singer rushed back with a monkey mask and long black hair, shaking his head wildly. We enjoyed it, but something like that is no longer possible. Date: 4 August 1966.
