Stuart-wortley, later lady welby, was maid of honour to queen victoria (1819-1901) from 1861 to 1863. After she married and had three children, she decided to re-educate herself and became an influential english philosopher of language, musician and water-colour artist. Provenance acquired by princess helena, consort of prince christian of schleswig-holstein-sonderburg-augustenburg (1846-1923) 2906461. Date: 1859.
