Plate 21: two soldiers from the lancer regiment, one on horseback, in predominantly red military uniform, blue sleeves with red trim, white epaulettes and gloves, and helmets topped by a blue extension with red trim and tassels; the mounted soldier in grey trousers with a wide red stripe, a white strap across his chest, is equipped with a lance with a tricolour flag, the other soldier holds a sword under one arm hand-coloured lithograph.
