this would appear to be an autograph replica, of equal if not better quality, of a three-quarter length design by pesne, of which the prime version is considered to be that of slightly larger size (146 by 11 cms. ) of 1745 now in schloss gripsholm, sweden (for which see e. Berckenhagen, p. Du colombier, m. Kühn and g. Poensgen, antoine pesne, berlin 1958, p. 97, no. Ha, reproduced).
