Beaumont en auge statue de Langlois, Jean-Charles Langlois

Beaumont-en-auge, calvados department, on a postcard from the late 19th or early 20th century. The bronze statue of jean-charles langlois made by louis-émile décorchemont. It was inaugurated on august 30, 1885 on the place du colonel langlois. It was unbolted and melted down under the vichy regime, as part of the mobilization of non-ferrous metals. The pedestal remained empty. Date: fin du 19e ou du début du 20e siècle.
