Moscow. Hotel "metropol", the central part of the main facade overlooks the teatralny lane. Decoration of top 2 floors. Hotel "metropol" was built in 1899-1905 years by the architect william walkot (amended lev kekushev and nikolai shevyakov). One of the most significant art nouveau buildings in moscow. Central majolica panels (on top) were designed by mikhail vrubel. Other panels are made based on sketches by alexander golovin and sergey chekhonin. The sculptural frieze of "the seasons" by nikolay andreev, it framed by 4th floor of the hotel (you can see the central part).
