Farman by the Mughal ruler Jahangir (Asnad.org, 3), 11 October 1615

The englishmen who are staying in the house of the padris situated in the quarter of javahari varah, ahmadabad province, shall be accomodated in another quarter. The house of the padris shall be left in their possession. The date given in the farman is: "(dated) the 19th of the month mihr, of the divine accession 10th year (of the emperor's reign)". Date: 11 October 1615.
