An 'orion'-class battleship alongside, with tugs, lighters and barges in attendance signed by artist, lower right. The ship, seen in starboard-bow view, with her 'a' and 'b' turrets traversed round to port and starboard,and a waterfront to the right, is one of the 'orion' -class battleships. The location may be the medway, since there appear to be two thames sailing barges tied up on the outboard flank of the warship. Date: circa 1914. Dimensions: 355 mm x 253 mm. Collection: Fine art.
