In 2 hours the gale abated and on the 10th april the ship reached madras roads under jury masts hand-coloured aquatint showing the hurricane-damaged bridgewater (captain j. R manderson) on a very stormy sea. Inscription in english below describes the damage. The honourable company's ship bridgewater.
