Düsseldorf hofgarten, the place where the vivarium stood. In a glasshouse there was an old rotting tree on which the artist mark dion had settled a microcosm of living organisms. The work of art was created in 2002 as part of the "hell-gruen" art trail and was destroyed in a major storm on june 19, 2014. The glasshouse has been removed for some time now, and the area has just been reforested (april 2017).
