Clay vessel with lid of reddish-brown ware with gray-shifting parts. Belly, from above flattened lower part with strongly marked angle where diameter is largest, flat bottom surface and cylindrical neck, however slightly tapering towards the marked thicker mouth edge. A vertical ear at the base of the neck, which joins it to the top of the ventral part. Immediately above this ear another one. On the neck and upper side painted line decoration in brown. The lid disc-shaped round with a pin-shaped protrusion in the center on both sides. The edge slightly notched. Date: 1892 (acquisition by the museum). Place of creation: Suriname.
