guanyin is sitting on a rock in a relaxing position (right leg hanging, left leg folded). She is holding a child on her left knee. She is dressed in a long double-breasted dress and wearing a high bun covered with a long blue veil. Above her forehead we see the buddha from whom she is the emanation, amitabha. The neckline, sleeves and hem of her dress are lined in blue. Her hair is dark purple. The child's clothing is dark purple and bordered with blue. The rock is dark purple and blue in front, with no covering behind. Above the hem of guanyin's dress and below the child yellow glaze. The flesh of the characters was left in beige biscuit.
