abstract: print shows a ship flying a banner labeled "temperance" standing offshore in rough seas to help rescue passengers from a ship flying a banner labeled "intemperance" that has wrecked on rocks on the coast. Some rowboats are headed toward the "temperance" ship and one has come ashore. Rescue workers on shore are pulling people from the sea and helping other passengers climb ashore over the rocks.
