Daria Troubetskay by Rokotov, between 1780 and 1790

Princess darya alexandrovna trubetskaya, née princess gruzinskaya (176–1796), daughter of prince alexander bakarovich gruzinsky and darya alexandrovna menshikova, granddaughter of his serene highness the prince. In the late 1780s, she married prince pyotr sergeyevich trubetskoy (1760–1817) and was the mother of five children, including prince sergei petrovich (1790–1860), a decembrist. She was buried in the transfiguration cathedral in the city of lyskovo, nizhny novgorod governorate. Object Type: painting. Date: between 1780 and 1790. Medium: painting.
