Stamp 3 öre 1862, from the postmuseum's collections. Mainly used for local letters. The picture was drawn by per olof bagge and the engraving was done in 1862 by p. A. Sparre who was then living in paris. The stamp was added in great haste, it was to replace the provisional brown local mark type stamp. The engraving was rejected by the post office, but for time reasons they were forced to accept the mark during a transition period. Sparre was ordered to execute a new, better engraving. Edition: 709,200, 3 öre type i. The stamps were produced without a watermark (only in the sheet margins). Invalid for franking from o. M. On december 30, 1910. Date: 1862.
