Hercules killing Cacus at his Cave

Hercules killing Cacus at his Cave

Beham, (hans) sebald (1500-1550): hercules killing cacus at his cave, from the labours of hercules (1542-1548). Engraving, 1545. B. 104, p. 102. 2 x 2 7/8 inches, possibly i/iv. A very good, strong impression, the area around cacus somewhat dryer than the rest of the image (possibly characteristic of the print), with thread margins.
