The photograph presents a medallion with the bust of a young woman, shown in left profile with a slightly tilted head and regular facial features. Wavy hair with bangs on the forehead is tied low at the nape of the neck. Delicately modeled outline of the dress's neckline. At the edge there is the sculptor's signature: "pio weloński roma". The round medallion is held from the right by a fully plastic figure of a dragon with spread wings. This is a reference to the surname of the portrayed person: in italian "drago" means "dragon"). The sculptural composition is complemented by a base in the form of a draped fabric trimmed with fringes, on which a closed crown and a rose branch are visible. The foundry's signature is placed at the edge: "fond nelli. Roma. The composition, made in the form of a cast, was photographed on a two-color background: uniformly light from the top and darker from the bottom, made of draped fabric. The print, made on albumen paper, was stuck on a cardboard backing without any company markings. It documents the medallion of princess d'antunia del drago by pius weloński (1849–1931), an outstanding polish sculptor active in rome in the years 1880–1898.
