Lost Plaque LCC Charles Turner 56 Warren Street 1924, Charles Turner, 1 January 1930

Representation of a london county council blue plaque to charles turner at 56 warren street erected on 18th june 1924. The grade ii listed house still stands but was refronted in the late 20th century. 450x450 png based on a monochrome line drawing from "indication of houses of historical interest in london - volume v, published by the london county council in 1930. The name of the author is given as the london county council, the principal local government body for the county of london throughout its existence from 1889 to 1965. The individual authors/artists are not named in the book. Volumes i-iii include a forward by sir laurence gomme, clerk to london county council, who died in 1915. Volume iv includes a forward by sir james bird, clerk to london county council who died in 1925. Volume v includes a preface by montagu h cox, clerk to london county council. Volume vi includes a forward by george gater, clerk to london county council who died in 1963. Date: 1 January 1930.
