The interior of the room is devoid of decoration, while, on the exterior wall, erect lotus petals are molded. The cup is covered with a thick, semi-opaque blue-green coating with the exception of the lower edge of the foot which took on an orange tint during cooking. This coating is covered with a double network of cracks: inside the cup a loose network of dark cracks is superimposed on the fine network of colorless cracks which runs throughout the container. There is a small chip on the lip and two on the foot.
