Mór jókai (komárom, february 18, 1825 – budapest, erzsébetváros, may 5, 1904) was one of the march youths, novelist, the "great hungarian storyteller", member of parliament, member of the house of lords, member of the board of directors of the hungarian academy of sciences, knight of the order of saint stephen, member of the kisfaludy society, from 1876 to 1903 president of the petőfi society, honorary member of the dugonics society.
