Portrait of prince edward in a roundel. Pen and black ink on paper, compass point, 5. 1 cm diameter, kunstmuseum basel. Prince edward is here surrounded by oak leaves and acorns, a symbol of renewal. The drawing was probably intended to be engraved onto precious metal or stone (foister, p. 101). Date: 1538.
