Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 32nd opening left (1898,1123. 3(31) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(32) recto) with scenes from trajan's column: roman sacrifice after disembarking on the dacian coast (upper part of opening); and a roman bridge of boats (lower part of opening) c. 1535 pen and brown ink, over black chalk, on vellum (the surface partly rubbed with black chalk).
