Nabob rumbled, 21 January 1783

A cartoon depicting thomas rumbold and corruption in the east india company - with the punning title - "the nabob rumbled or a lord advocates amusement". It shows sir thomas rumbold coughing coins to henry dundas. His legs are shackled to weights marked as "sureties". His son hold him and says "ah these dam'd scotch pills will kill poor dad". Dundas says "i weel tak them to lochabar and wash them in the brook -". Date: 21 January 1783.
