Caption reads: "view of broadway near grace church. " credit line reads: "a. J. Stansbury. Rawdon, clark & co. Sc. " text (p. 217) reads: "was erected in 1809, as an independent church. It is a substantial and neat edifice of brick, with a handsome cupola; the rear of the building is in elliptical form, with a terraced garden, and the rector's house adjoining. …" at center, the steeple of the second trinity church.
