Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 328, 24 August 1917

328. Cross-doll in the old cemeteries of the village. Golyama kaynardzha, tutrakansko, made 20-30 years ago from oak wood; half rotten. The head of the doll is egg-shaped, its lower wing is long, narrowing upwards, forming a neck from which the side small quarter wings emerge. Three cross cuts were made with a saw - two on the sides of the small wings and the third between them on the doll's face. Dimensions: 47x11x7 cm. Sketched on 24. Vii. 917 (t. 4, obr. 3. ). Date: 24 August 1917.
