St hubert of liège is consecrated bishop by pope sergius. Contents: hubert le prevost, vie de st. Hubert place of origin, date: bruges, david aubert (scribe), loyset liédet (illuminator); 1463 material: vellum, ff. 76, 323x244 (204x150) mm, 22 lines, littera hybrida (lettre bourguignonne), binding: 18th-century brown leather; gilt decoration: 13 miniatures (115/100x150 mm), 1 historiated initial (38x42 mm; coat of arms), decorated initials (9v, 10v, 11v, 12v, 13r, etc) provenance: made in 1463 for philip the good (d. 1467), duke of burgundy; remained in the ducal library till the 17th century (mentioned in the inventories of 1467, 1487, 1536, 1577, 1598 and 1614). Disappeared after 1643. H. -n. De villenfagne d'ingihoul, bruxelles (d. 1826). Purchased in 1826 by king william i of the netherlands and placed in the koninklijke bibliotheek. Date: 1463.
