This is an oil painting by alice maude fanner, a british impressionist painter who worked in the latter part of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th. The view is looking northeast from the southern part of hyde park and shows the mansions in park lane and the ring, the road which circled the park. This part of the ring later became the enlarged park lane. Circa 1900.
