This dish depicts "the sacrifice of noah," after raphael, probably from a drawing engraved by marco dente da ravenna. It is painted in blue, copper-green, yellow, ochre, brown, blue-black and opaque white. The subject covers the entire surface. Around an altar inscribed with the word "%sachrifizium%" and on which is a fire, noah and his three sons are engaged in a sacrifice. At the right noah stands with one son who holds a sheep. At the left the two other sons prepare a second sheep while two men stand behind with two oxen and a camel. The piece has a landscape background. On the back, the marli edged with yellow bands is covered with a scale-pattern outlined in blue and picked out with ochre; in the center, a cartouche (with a waved line above and below) is inscribed with the date "1524.
