This is part of a set of pictures used by antiquarian hayman rooke in a lecture about brimham rocks and the druids, in the 1780s. The print is from an unknown 18th-century book: vol. Viii, plate xvii, page 215. This is possibly the noonstone, or it may be the rock which stands beside the idol stone. Date: before 1786.
