The engraving shows several interesting details of the area around basel downstream of the rhine. The klybeck castle and its farm buildings. In the foreground you can see an orchard, behind it runs the klybeckteich, which drives the water wheels of the sawmills and mills of the commercial enterprises. An irrigation canal with a trap for the orchard in the foreground branches off from the pond. In the left part of the picture you can see the fortress of french hüningen on the other side of the rhine, behind it stretches the ridge of the isteiner klotzen. In the background in the middle of the picture you can see the lower klybeck and the village of kleinhüningen at the mouth of the meadow. On the right edge of the picture rises the badenweiler blauen with the sausenburg and below it the village of ötlingen on the tülinger berg. Date: 1754.
