668. A corner of the cemetery of the village. Radoil. The yard of the church "st. Nikola", where the cemeteries are, is above the river, which, when it came, carried away some of the graves, so they were forced to move them, but for now they still bury the dead here. The (stone) monuments are from before the russo-turkish war, after the church was built in 1861; they are almost all cut from iskar oil stone (gneiss), which is cut with a knife. Oil stone monuments are also found in samokov, in almost all the villages around samokov. This stone, syanite-granite and marble (fine-grained and coarse-grained) were quarried in the area above samokov - demir kapia. The dolls and the wooden crosses are sketched on 23. Iii. 1921 (vol. 10, tab. Iii, no. 98. ). Date: 23 March 1921.
