1855 circa Friedrich Adolph Hornemann, o. J. Lithografie Clemenskirche von Osten (BD 064635), Friedrich Adolf Hornemann, circa 1855
Lithograph made by the painter and lithographer around 1855 at the time of the kingdom of hanover with a view of the then clemens church in the royal seat of hanover. The provost church basilica of st. Clemens is seen here from the east with its large wrought iron portal. To the left of the church - next to a narrow entrance - one of hanover's higher girls' schools can be seen; the former building of the catholic girls' school later maintained by the episcopal general vicariate in hildesheim: the st. Ursula-oberlyzeum at the former address clemenstraße 1-3. Date: circa 1855.
