The poet kakinomoto no hitomaro, fan in hand, sitting on a balcony, looking out to sea. His work is included in, among others, the collection of ten thousand leaves (manyôshû), from the 8th century, and in one hundred poems by a hundred poets (hyakunin isshu) from 1235. With two poems.
