The upper half of page 7 of the illustrirten zeitung number 3538 from april 20, 1911 shows a multi-colored illustration of a work reproduced for printing by the painter and professor claus meyer with the polymath gottfried wilhelm leibniz, who is walking through his rooms in the leibniz house in hanover, which was later named after him, wearing a wig and carrying a thick book under his arms. The decorative band framing the picture on the left and right with putti and a depiction of the electress sophie and the younger leibniz is by änne koken and bears the artist's monograms a and k. The illustration precedes a short biography of the electress by the writer anna wendland (1866-1955), which will not be in the public domain until the end of 2015 for copyright reasons.
