This uncoloured aquatint is taken from plate 17 of captain alexander allan's 'views in the mysore country'. This fort at tarlawady was, according to allan, "a small hill fort, but very difficult of ascent". It surrendered to a detachment commanded by captain james campbell on 30 december 1791.
