Excavation of Stone Age cave on Gotland, Hjalmar Stolpe, 1891

Photo from the excavations in 1891 of the stone age settlement in the cave of stora förvar. It was excavated in 1888-1893, by lars kolmodin sitting dressed in white in the middle of the picture and by hjalmar stolpe who took the photograph. Stora förvar is situated on stora karlsö island west of the island of gotland. Date: 1891.
