A hesitant quaker, holding up a handkerchief in both hands with his thumbs together, standing at centre before three sportive prostitutes reclining languidly on beds; the woman at left, wearing a hat with a large plume and having pulled back her skirts, stares at his erect member, which is fondled by one of the others; at right, behind the quaker, a woman places her foot on his shoulder and pulls back his tailcoat; on the floor at far right, a book or papers lettered 'essay on quaqorism' (quakerism).
