The virgin and child with saint anne, saint francis and saint augustine; the virgin, with the child upon her lap, is seated upon a cushion at the feet of the enthroned st. Anne; above, a symbol of god the father within a radiant aureole, flanked by flying two putti, holding flowers; to left, saint augustine wearing a mitre and holding a book; to right, saint francis, his habit embroidered with the letters 'ihs' engraving.
