Bellin's map of amboina, engraved by jacob van schley for a dutch version of antonine prevost d'exile's histoire generale des voyages. It differs from the maps produced by bellin for provost's original edition in the inclusion of a dutch title alongside with the french title. The map shows the town of ambon in 1718 under dutch rule. A detailed alpha-numeric key indicates important buildings and geographical features. Date: between 1746 and 1770.
