At the 2006 auction, the experts at bruun rasmussen claimed that this painting was exhibited at charlottenborg in 1907. They must have changed their mind later, for in 2022 they auctioned a larger version (with sheep in the foreground) as the painting present at charlottenborg in 1907. See "other versions".
