Bather, also known as venus. Marble, exhibited at the salon of 1767. Louis xv of france presented madame du barry with the statue in 1772; she placed it in the gardens of her castle at louveciennes. Dimensions: H. 1.74 m (5 ft. 8 ½ in.), W. 62 cm (24 ¼ in.), D. 67.5 cm (26 ½ in.). Collection: Louvre Museum.
