Plate 25: three soldiers: a guard from the town hall to left in a blue tunic with red piping, blue bicorne hat with red trim and plume, red trousers, red and white epaulettes, has a sword and firearm with bayonet, the other two men dressed in a more informal way, in light blue tunics with red scarves and waistbands, grey, blue and red hats; the highlander in the centre reading a newspaper, wears brown trousers with a red stripe, and has a sword and a firearm with bayonet, the republican guard soldier to right smokes a pipe, wears beige trousers, a white strap with a small satchel (?) hanging against his back, and an armband and has a sword hand-coloured lithograph.
