Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 3d opening left (1898,1123. 3(3) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(4) recto) with five statues, four in niches: female figure seen in profile; youth playing pan pipes; bacchus reaching upwards with his right hand; ganymede embracing jupiter in the form of the eagle; venus pudica, the goddess protecting her modesty with her hands c. 1535 pen and brown ink, brown wash, heightened with white, on vellum prepared with a brown wash.
