The experts at bruun rasmussen stated that this was christiansen's work toget kommer (the train is passing). It was not. That painting was larger and it only showed a railway crossing. See "other versions". They also claimed that the present panting was exhibited at charlottenborg in 1884. It was not, that was the real toget kommer as illustrated in the catalog on page s. 16.
