Marie Mignot, Pierre-Roch Vigneron

Marie Mignot, Pierre-Roch Vigneron

So-called portrait of claudine françoise mignot (1624-1711), mistress of john ii casimir vasa (1609-1672) note by ecummenic: the identity of the model is questionable because it shows a young woman, dressed and combed in the fashion of around 1670, when at this time francois was more than 45 years old, also this engraving seems to be derived from a portrait of diane gabrielle damas de thianges (1656-1715) made by jacob ferdinand voet (see image below). Date: 19th century. Medium: engraving. Vigneron after Mignard - "Marie Mignot"
