description:
the three animal protomes, slightly superimposed, give an impression of depth to this small rectangular plate. Their heads turned backwards, they are represented in profile, except for their two ears facing forward. The pendulous snout shape identifies them as elk. The round eyes are surrounded by a thin line and small depressions mark the inside of the eye and the ears. The reverse has two horizontal loops. Mode of acquisition: purchase
