Vertical hand-colored stipple engraving of a full length portrait of daniel boone. In fall of 1820, lewis made a copper plate engraving of the chester harding painting and between 2 and 3 hundred prints were sold. They were earliest known prints made west of mississippi river. Title: "col. Daniel boon [sic]. " (daniel boone). Date: 1820.
